This section requires the organization to "determine, provide and
maintain the infrastructure needed to achieve conformity to product
requirements". However, no procedure or record is required to reflect
this that this ever happens!
Guidance:
I suggest paraphrasing the wording of the standard in your Quality
Manual. ISO 9000 auditors will typically attempt to verify compliance
through interviewing maintenance workers and possibly IT workers.
ISO 9000 auditors may also ask about any maintainence records.
